Battle of the Kings

Can you find white's only winning move out of the three possible?

Blacks King moves to C6 if white is on e3 if e4 black go's to b5 and white must retreat to either e3 or d3 if d3 black plays to c5 and they can dance all night when white moves back to e3 blacks moves back to c6 to be able to defend the e6 pawn and cut off the white King via d7,e7 so let me look at the reason for g1 now that I understand the reason white cannot make any progress on the queenside.

Look harder- there is no way white can force a win after 1.Kg2 or 1.Kh2- 1.Kg1 is the only way to force a win. There is a deeper reason for it which I was trying to get Alena to find by looking at the other variations.

OK so my variation will not work as 1..Kb8 gains opposition so white has to get it back with something like 1.Kg2..Kb8 2.Kf2..Kc7 3.Kf3..Kc6 4.Ke3 so if black moves to either 4..b6,c5,b5 he loses the e6 pawn black cannot defend both the b4 and e6 pawns

A I.Kg2.. Ka7 2.Kf3..Kb6 3.Ke3..Ka5 4.Kd3..Kb5 5.Kd4 wins if..Ka5 6.Kc5,d6 or B 1.Kg2..Kb7 2.Kf3..Kc6 3.Ke3..Kc5 4.Kd3..Kb5 5.Ke4..works

Guess I didn't look deep enough into the alternative moves.

The white king moves to d3 either by g2 or g1 black can reach c5 in 3 moves but
white can reach e3 and black has to give ground due to the opposition so both blacks b4 and c3 pawns fall and game over.
