Of course, without the pawn on d6, the position is drawn regardless of which player is to move- a good demonstration of why you should try to get out in front of you pawn quickly. With the extra pawn, though, white wins with 1.Ke4, and no other move. If black plays 1...Ke6, then white just plays 2.d7 and 3.Kd5, and if black plays 1....Kxd6, then 2.Kd4 wins.
