India just produced the 2nd youngest chess GM in history!
Praggnanandhaa has earned his 3rd and final GM norm after only 8 rounds at Grendine Open Chess! He is now the 2nd youngest chess Grandmaster in history! Congratulations to him, his family, his coach GM Ramesh RB, and India!
In March at the 2018 Reykjavik Chess Open, he also won a full tuition and fees chess scholarship to Webster University, which has a value of over $108,000!

The 4th Gredine Open is a 9-round Swiss chess tournament taking place from 16-24 June 2018 in Ortisei, Italy. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 chess moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the chess game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
