The top chess prize is 20,000 PLN (about $5,500) with the top two qualifying for the Polish Chess Olympiad team. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves followed by 30 minutes to the end of the chess game, with a 30-second increment starting from move 1. No draw offers are allowed before move 30 so expect fighting chess.
