Serious potential legal ramifications all around

It is important to stop cheating in chess but how to do it is also very important

I cannot stand chess cheaters. I think they should be given the harshest penalty possible when caught. But...I do have a problem with 1) taking photos of someone in the toilet 2) publishing it!

What if the person did not cheat and was doing their toilet business? Could you imagine the legal ramifications?

I know in the US some parents follow their kids’ opponents to the toilets and took photos while the opponents were inside the toilets.

I heartily applaud FIDE for strong anti-cheating stance and procedures. But please look into this as it can cause serious legal problems all the way around.
