This is one of my chess quotes over the years. This is what I preach to all my students. And it is a big problem for many chess players. Because of the fear of losing, players are afraid to sacrifice at the right moment, play more aggressively when needed, or play complicated positions out when required…I have also seen some players physically shaken because of fear of losing.

Just remember, chess is ONLY a game! If one is afraid to fight in a chess GAME because of fear, how can one handle the real world? To get better, one has to fight with no fear, and be willing to battle hard in every game! Learn from mistakes and improve game by game.
